Weighbridge Operator

The key responsibilities:

• Operate the weighbridge with vehicles coming on and off.
• Record the vehicle Registration, Client and incoming weight of a vehicle and add to the weighbridge system.
• Record the tare weight of vehicles once they have tipped an assign the correct products to the weighbridge ticket.
• Direct the wagon to the appropriate loading/unloading area.
• Inform the relevant staff that the wagon is on site.
• Track, liaise and keep up to date with all trailers on site and off site
• Process relevant data and paperwork and update all records on relevant computer systems

To succeed in this role, you will need be reliable and have good organisational and attention to detail skills. You will hold incredibly high standards, demonstrate a positive attitude, and display a good level of communication.

Previous weighbridge administration experience is advantageous but not essential however, you will need to have some previous administration experience and be proficient with Microsoft Excel and Word.

Reliability and flexibility are key in this position, dealing with all aspects of operating a busy weighbridge.

Pay:
£12 per hour on a self employed basis

Working Hours:
Monday - Friday 7am - 5:00pm
