RPG Developer

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
• Proven experience as an IBM iSeries RPG Developer, preferably within the banking or financial services industry.
• Proven handson experience on RPG, RPGLE, SQL, CLLE CL OS/400, DB2/400

An IBM iSeries RPG Developer in the banking sector is responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining applications on the IBM iSeries (AS/400) platform using RPG (Report Program Generator) language.

This role is crucial in ensuring the banks core banking systems are robust, reliable, and capable of meeting the evolving needs of the business.

The developer will work closely with various stakeholders to support and enhance banking operations through efficient and effective software solutions.

• Knowledge of API & Microservices, designing & developing responsive UI components
• Solid understanding of IBM iSeries architecture and operating system.
• Knowledge of SQL and database management on the iSeries platform.
• Excellent problemsolving skills and attention to detail.
• Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

• Advanced degree in a related field.
• Certifications in IBM iSeries or RPG programming.
• Experience with modernizing legacy iSeries applications.
• Familiarity with other programming languages and tools used in the banks technology stack.
• Knowledge of tools like Splunk, AppDynamics, JIRA, Confluence
• Knowledge of cloud environments
