4 days in office / 1 day home working Our client, a mid-sized ambitious Law firm in the City, is seeking a proactive and highly competent Executive Assistant who will provide professional, client focussed support to the Chief Executive Officer.

This role offers immense scope and opportunities to add value, working closely with Partners and Business Services managers to deliver effective solutions via the most efficient route.

Working in a friendly, collaborative firm, the ideal candidate will have the highest degree of professionalism and confidentiality and will be confident in their ability to influence stakeholders, drive change and build relationships.

We are looking for candidates who have worked in the legal sector previously and who have a broad range of technical EA skills.

Comprehensive and proactive diary and meeting management, anticipating future demands and actions required, using knowledge and initiative to resolve conflicts.

Co-ordinating, organising and planning meetings and events, including liaising with all attendees, drafting agendas, collating papers and producing documents for internal and external meetings.

Arranging all logistics including booking rooms, equipment and refreshments using resources available for both physical and virtual meetings. Track all progress and attending to take minutes/actions.
Acting as liaison point for colleagues and dealing and screening calls.
Assisting with queries during absences as well as mailbox management and actioning as necessary.
Draft replies to incoming internal and external correspondence.
Management of effective Outlook filing system and firm e-filing protocols.
Ability to produce basic PowerPoint presentations and amend as appropriate
Support for annual Partner review process and firmwide appraisals.

Coordinate the annual practising certificate renewal process, ensuring that information is collected in a timely manner and the renewal is processed in advance of the deadline.

Support with the quarterly Firm newsletter.
Be a champion for process changes.
Paper and electronic filing.
Prepare and submitting expenses. Salary will be dependent upon experience
