Part time shop assistant required for Post Office in Brickhill.

You must be confident working on your own and using your initiative to attract customers and sales.

You will be trained on the Post Office counter. Therefore must agree to an advanced disclosure screening by the post office. Experience with handling cash and valuable stock would be an advantage.

As well as general shop duties, you can train as a barista and basic food prep.


Managing newspaper account customers and monthly billing, also ensuring newspaper deliveries from the wholesaler are accurate and claims are submitted.

Newspaper bundles can be heavy (up to 25kg) and awkward to carry. You must be fit and able to do this.


you will also need to manage deliverers ensuring they turn up on time and that they deliver to customers accurately and sickness is covered.

Being able to cover occasional additional hours during the week or during school holiday times would be an advantage

minimum age 18 years.
