Working as part of Open Mental Health within our Crisis Safe Space Service in Bridgwater; you will provide emotional support to those experiencing a mental health crisis or emotional distress including safety planning and 5 Ways to Wellness.

You will ensure a safe, welcoming and comfortable space for people to seek the support they need.

About you:

You will need to:

  • Be experienced in supporting people with mental health challenges
  • Have experience of supporting people in emotional distress
  • Be a great communicator
  • Be great at building trust with those you work with
  • Have compassion, empathy and passion for supporting others
  • Be IT literate and be able to record and report information
  • Have confidence lone working and as part of a team
