Property Inspector / Inventory Clerk

We are looking for candidates interested in working either 5 days or 4 days a week, between 8.30am - 5.30pm. The salary, bonuses, and holiday entitlement will be adjusted accordingly for those working 4 days on a pro-rata basis.

The ideal candidate will spend their days visiting properties, conducting various tasks such as producing condition inspections to ensure the properties are well-maintained, creating reports, and sending them to the respective landlords.

• Using specialized software on an iPad to generate detailed reports on property conditions before new tenants move in.
• Checking properties during a tenancy, preparing reports, and communicating with tenants about any maintenance issues.
• Coordinating with Property Managers to resolve maintenance-related matters.

• If a property is not adequately maintained, discuss the issue with tenants and work on a plan to address it.
• Perform a final inspection before the end of a tenancy to create a 'check out' report.
• Assist in mediating between landlords and tenants on maintenance disputes at the end of a tenancy.
• Prepare paperwork for independent adjudicators if disputes persist between landlords and tenants.

• Prior experience in Residential Lettings is beneficial but not required as full training will be provided.

Requirements:

• Attention to detail in property inspections and report writing.
• Strong organizational skills to manage a busy schedule.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and meet deadlines.
• Excellent communication skills in person and through various channels.
• IT proficiency, including MS Office and mobile devices.
• Valid driving license and own vehicle.

Remuneration:

• Full-time salary range of £25,000 to £30,000, with additional benefits including a car allowance and quarterly bonuses.
