Job Details:

  • Children's Residential Support Worker
  • Working for a well-established organisation that specialises in support for children and young people within OFSTED regulated care homes
  • Support up to 6 young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and associated learning difficulties
  • Supporting young people aged between 6 -16
  • Provide therapeutic support, working towards positive outcomes for all young people
  • Work within staff team of support workers, seniors, deputy managers and a registered manager
  • Ensure all support given meets OFSTED standards
  • Support children and young within the home and in the community
  • Arranging and taking part in activities
  • Managing, updating and following care plans
  • The home is based in Heanor.


Pay Details:

  • From £25,000



Contract Details:

  • Full-time, permanent contract
  • 39 hours a week



The successful candidate:

  • You MUST be willing to carry out personal care duties
  • Ideally be a driver as you will be required to transport the young people from time
    to time
  • You MUST be an empathetic and relatable person, have good listening and
    communication skills, and a natural instinct to help others
  • You MUST be able to commute to Heanor.
