We are currently seeking an MHE Trainer to join our team at the Desborough site on a full-time permanent basis.
Job Description
The main responsibility of the MHE Trainer is to provide training to MHE operators to promote safe working practices and reduce MHE accidents/incidents.
Key Duties of an MHE Trainer:
  • Training all MHE staff on the FMS system (Fleet Management System).
  • Conducting site inductions for MHE/Manual Handling for all FTE/Agency staff.
  • Assisting in Risk Assessment (RA) and Safe Working Practices (SWP) implementation.
  • Delivering high-quality technical skills training using various methods.
  • Managing the number of MHE operators to minimize skill fade and risks.
  • Participating in the investigation of on-site and MHE-related incidents/accidents.
  • Promoting a proactive approach to reduce risks in MHE operations and providing learning from experience briefings.
  • Identifying and addressing hazards to ensure a safe working environment.
  • Coordinating with Operational management to fulfill site training requirements for all shifts.
Qualifications
  • Demonstrated high attention to detail.
  • Team player with the ability to work independently.
  • Capable of meeting tight deadlines.
  • Flexible in work approach and shift patterns for training coverage.
  • Strong oral and written communication skills.
  • Effective time management and problem-solving abilities.
  • Valid Reach Truck license (RTITB or ITSSAR).
  • Valid VNA license (RTITB or ITSSAR).
