Job Description:
We are looking for a dedicated and experienced 1-1 Tutor to join a passionate team. The role involves assisting pupils in reaching their full potential in English, science, or mathematics through one-on-one tutoring and small group teaching. Subjects may cover primary and GCSE levels.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide one-on-one tutoring in English or maths to pupils with SEN needs.
  • Teach small groups of no more than 4 pupils, tailoring lessons to their abilities.
  • Collaborate with the school's team to create individualized education plans.
  • Create a supportive and inclusive learning environment.
  • Adapt teaching methods to diverse learning styles.
  • Maintain accurate records of student progress.

Requirements:

  • Essential experience in tutoring or teaching English, science, or maths to children with SEN needs.
  • Teaching qualifications are desirable but not mandatory.
  • Passion for working with pupils of different needs and abilities.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Flexibility to work full-time or part-time.

Working Hours:
Between 8.15am and 4pm, to be arranged with the school.
