Bearhugs Nursery is set in beautiful walled gardens in Horncastle and provides a home from home environment for children to grow and learn.

We were rated GOOD by Ofsted in December 2021. We are open 50 weeks of the year between 7:30am - 18:00pm.

Bearhugs nursery was founded in 2011 and has gone from strength to strength, opening a second local nursery, as the company has grown Bearhugs has continued to maintain its home from home environment, nurturing children in a kind, caring place, our ethos has remained the same and will continue to do so.

All our rooms have their own dedicated gardens and access to their own gardens at all times.

We offer excellent training opportunities as well as continuous professional development packages. This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate, caring, and enthusiastic educator to join our lovely friendly team.

About you
To carry out this role we would expect you to have the following characteristics:

  • NVQ Level 3 qualified in childcare or early years
  • Ability to develop effective relationships with children, colleagues, parents, and outside professionals
  • Create engaging, fun, and informative learning opportunities
  • Have a sound knowledge and understanding of safeguarding
  • Must enjoy being outdoors in all weathers
  • Work within the framework of the nursery's policies and procedures and the Early Years Foundation Stage.
  • Paediatric First Aid qualification (preferred)

Job Types:

Part-time hours: 24 per week

£9.50-£10.42 per hour
