About the Job:
- Join a dynamic team at a European Engineering OEM specializing in Complex Mechanical Handling and Process Systems
- Work on the design and delivery of various mechanical systems for heavy-regulated applications in the Nuclear Sector
- Opportunity to be involved in projects related to Nuclear Defence, New Build, Modular Reactor, and Fusion/Fission Energy Projects
Qualifications & Experience Required:
- Degree in Mechanical Engineering or related field
- Prior experience as a Mechanical Design Engineer
- Full design lifecycle experience, from concept to commissioning
- DFM experience in Fabrication, Machining, Welding, etc.
- Experience in designing Machinery, Mechanical Handling Systems, Hydraulics, etc.
- Proficiency in 3D CAD, FEA Analysis Software, and Hand Calculations
- Familiarity with British and European Technical Standards
