The Booking Hub Manager role at University Hospital Sussex involves supporting CDCs at Southlands/Bognor Regis and teams at St Richards & Worthing Hospital.

Main Duties

  • Manage patient pathways and waiting lists efficiently.
  • Lead booking teams to ensure smooth patient journeys from referral to treatment completion.
  • Ensure compliance with Trust policies, especially the Patient Access Policy.
  • Collaborate with team leaders and clinical teams to maintain policy adherence and handle clinic changes effectively.
  • Supervise administrative staff in line with Trust procedures.

Job Role

This Booking Hub Manager position is crucial to the administration management team, focusing on achieving Radiology targets. You will report to the Patient Access Manager, leading clerical and administrative services in line with the Trust's patient access policy. Responsibilities include managing administrative staff, training, and recruitment.

Essential

  • Effective planning and organization skills.

Experience/Qualifications

  • GCSE Level 4/NVQ Level 3 or equivalent experience.
  • Team management experience with recruitment responsibilities.
  • Training and optimizing work systems.

  • Understanding of complex NHS pathways.
  • Knowledge of Information Governance and Access Policy.
