Business Continuity & Crisis Manager

As the Business Continuity and Crisis Manager, your main objective will be to create a strong Business Continuity and Crisis Management framework in support of the separation of Colt Data Centres from Colt Technology. You will have the responsibility of establishing and overseeing the BCP and Crisis Management function for DCS, with a specific focus on attaining ISO 22301 certification and other relevant certifications.

Your role will be crucial in implementing policies, processes, and documentation to ensure that DCS is fully prepared to effectively manage and navigate potential disruptions and crises.

Job role

  • Implement BCP and Crisis management systems to meet DCS requirements
  • Ensure minimum documentation, plans and crisis communication/incident management capabilities are embedded for both BCP and Crisis management
  • Centrally coordinate and raise awareness of the Business Continuity efforts for DCS
  • Manage the readiness project to obtain ISO22301 certification from planning, to implementation, to completion including the relationship with the certifying body
  • Acts as a single point of contact and subject matter expert for ISO22301 for DCS
  • Research best practices, government requirement, ISO22301 guidance and other relevant sources of knowledge
  • Facilitate BCP risk and vulnerability assessments and scope prioritisation across DCS
  • Develop relevant materials, templates and tools to aid implementation of ISO22301 requirements and documentation of BCP plans consistently
  • Refresh and develop as appropriate fit-for-purpose BCP policies in line with ISO22301 requirements
  • Coordinate, follow up & monitor ISO22301 readiness project progress against milestones, budget & targets
  • Prepare project updates and KPI dashboards for BCP Steering Committee and Board level audiences
  • Influence, motivate and support internal stakeholders as appropriate to jointly achieve the project targets in terms of timeliness, quality and completion of steps for IS022301
  • Coordinate and effectively manage the relationship with the certifying body and ISO22301 auditors, consultants and other parties as appropriate
  • Follow through to completion of readiness, coordinate efforts to seek certification, coordinate ISO22301 audits and put in place structure for future yearly audits
