About Us, We're A 9 Bedroom Hotel as well as Public House serving Food & Drinks in our bar area, dining room & large beer garden/gazebo overlooking Cardigan Bay

You may be asked to undertake breakfast / lunch / evening shifts and help in all areas inc KP during certain times of the year, or during staff shortages


We're looking for someone who is approachable and not afraid to get stuck in, you may also be required to do additional tasks during busy periods within your capabilities.

As an integral part of the team you will need to be friendly, professional and hard working.

You will be responsible for serving food, Making & Serving hot drinks, clearing tables and cleaning dining & bar areas, also assisting chefs with simple duties when required.


During quieter times when KP is not available washing equipment manually and with an industrial sanitiser clearing all food waste/kitchen waste appropriately and upholding food hygiene standards.

You will be working in a busy and fast paced kitchen, assisting with deliveries and stock rotation. Reporting to the responsible person in charge.


Finally, you will ensure all areas are kept clean, tidy and presentable and that when its quiet you undertake jobs that require doing, stocking up, cleaning areas/worksurfaces.


KEY TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Ensuring tables are cleared in a timely manner, once customers have finished courses
  • Wiping down all surfaces and ensuring the area is ready for the next customer.
  • Making & Serving hot and cold drinks out to customers.
  • Serving food; ensuring correct meals are being served as per check
  • Stock rotation, notifying management of low stock
  • Manually and with an industrial dishwasher cleaning all kitchen equipment, drying and ensuring it is put back where it belongs.
  • Following opening and closing procedures daily which may involve cleaning & setting up for breakfast for the following day.
  • Ability to follow instruction and to take on board your daily tasks and jobs when asked to do so

Due to the nature of hospitality the job will entail weekdays, weekends, daytime & evening shifts working to a rota
Pay is dependent on age and experience. Hours negotiable dependant on age

Part/Full/Seasonal Hours Available

Availability During Weekends / BH & School Holiday Time is a Essential Requirement

Commencement March/April 2023
