SEO Specialist, UK (Remote)
Organic search is an increasingly strategic channel for both customer acquisition and engagement with existing customers.

The SEO Specialist will be part of the team to take our organic presence to the next level, competing for visibility among competing brands.

Reporting to the
Paid Media/Conversion Rate Optimization Manager, you will contribute to the execution of a robust SEO strategy. This work mainly focuses on on-page optimization, keyword research, sourcing backlinks and competitor analysis.

Additional activities include writing blog posts to drive additional site traffic, revising current posts to make them more productive, and conversion rate optimization to drive form fills.

Requirements:

  • Must be comfortable writing blog posts (writing samples required)
  • Ability to work within a team and independently
  • Two to three years of experience as an inhouse SEO specialist
  • Understanding of search engine algorithms and ranking methods
  • Uptodate with the latest trends and best practices in SEO
  • Experience with Google Analytics, Google Search Console, Ahrefs, Semrush, SEO Clarity, Screaming Frog or similar tools
  • Technical SEO techniques including title tags, descriptions, headings, local SEO, blog strategy
  • Able to complete competitive analysis of other companies within the industry
  • Comfortable analyzing high volumes of data
  • Basic knowledge of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript development and constraints
  • Familiarity with WordPress and Webflow
  • Experience with CRO and CTR optimization

Responsibilities:

  • Ongoing keyword research and analysis
  • Competitor keyword research and monitoring
  • Writing / rewriting blog posts and copy
  • Generation and analysis of SEO reports
  • Update company SEO wiki as needed
  • Daily performance metric monitoring
  • Work with other marketing teams on projects that benefit organic traffic
  • Work with development team on technical optimization opportunities including sitemaps, page speed, URL structure, schema and site navigation
  • Work with outside contractors as needed on implementing SEO projects
  • Sourcing highquality backlinks
