  • Wiring and assembly of the machinery including Control panel wiring and mechanical assembly/fitting.

Key Responsibilities:

  • To undertake the assembly and manufacture of parts & assemblies to the point where they are complete machines and ready for test
  • Control Panel Assembly and Wiring.
  • Mechanical fitting and assembly of parts, sub-assemblies and finished machine
  • Plastic Parts manufacture
  • Finishing and Packaging of finished machines
  • Wiring of chamber
  • Testing of chamber using instructions provided.
  • Self-inspection of finished items using laid down methodology
  • Improve assembly methods and practices to reduce costs and minimise waste
  • Ensure quality work produced to minimise non-conformities
  • Ensure provided Work Instructions and methods are adhered to the letter.
  • Ensure tidiness, cleanliness and standards of 'housekeeping' in own work area and throughout the workshop.
  • Training of other employees as required.
  • Picking and packing of Spares Orders.

Required Skills/Qualifications:

  • Competence in undertaking general electromechanical assembly or finishing operations.
  • Competence in wiring control panel installations in accordance with best practice standards.
  • Competence in pneumatic installations in accordance with best practice standards (but training can be given in this area).
  • Competent mechanical fitting skills.
  • As defined by any future skills matrix that is both reasonable and achievable.
  • Fork truck Licence would be an advantage but not necessary.
  • Manual handling ability will be required
