About the role...
- Working closely and successfully with cross functional teams such as BA's, Stakeholders, engineers and customers to understand the data they are receiving.
- Shaping the data engineering team, mentoring and developing junior engineers.
- You will help define data strategy whilst designing and build data models.
- Managing and leading a team of data engineers whilst providing technical guidance.
- You will identify and resolve any data quality issues.
- Drive the data transformation models and capabilities.
About you...
- You will have strong communication skills.
- A deep understanding of data modelling and database design.
- You will have strong demonstrable data analytical skills.
- You'll have excellent programming skills such as Python, Java or Scala.
- You will have strong leadership skills.
