CNC Operative / Welder - Doncaster - £14.13 to £15.53



The company Montracon, located in Doncaster, is seeking a skilled CNC Operative / Welder to join their team. With manufacturing sites at Doncaster and Market Weighton known for producing a wide range of trailers, the company values a highly experienced workforce.



Responsibilities:
  • Prepare and operate CNC machine for tasks such as drilling and cutting.
  • Understand specifications by reading engineering drawings.
  • Load raw materials onto the machine.
  • Set up and operate plasma cutting machines.
  • Perform post-operation duties like marking and cleaning parts.
  • Supervise machine operations and make necessary adjustments for optimal results.
  • Maintain machinery daily for functionality.
  • Plan work efficiently and minimise waste of raw materials.
  • Conduct quality control checks.
  • Ensure safe machinery operation.
  • Assist in other production areas as needed.

Ideal Candidate:

  • Experience in welding, cutting, and drilling functions using various tools.
  • Knowledge of welding practices and safety standards.
  • Ability to use welding machinery and perform manual tasks.
  • Good interpersonal and manual dexterity skills.
  • Experience in trailer manufacture is desirable.

Working Hours:
