Job Title: Senior Associate – Single Family Office in London

A Single Family Office in London is seeking to hire a Senior Associate to join their team, which currently consists of five members. The Office focuses on investments across various asset classes, with a strong emphasis on Private Equity through both Direct investments and Funds. Due to rapid growth, the Office is looking to bring on board a Senior Associate to assist in new and existing investment opportunities.

About the Company: The Office also offers financial support to a connected Philanthropic foundation that assists charities in the London area.


Professional Requirements:

  • Outstanding intellectual and analytical skills
  • Experience in multiple asset classes, especially Private Equity
  • Prior background in investment banking, private equity, transaction services, management consulting, or a similar family office setting
  • Possession of relevant professional qualifications like Chartered Accountancy
  • Strong curiosity for investing and a dedication to continuous learning
  • Proven ability to build new relationships within the investment community
  • Demonstrated dynamism, self-starting attitude, and good interpersonal skills
  • 6-8 years of experience in top-tier investment banking, private equity, transaction services, management consulting, or a family office
  • Sound judgement and a track record in analyzing new investment opportunities
  • Proficiency in financial models for valuations and returns analysis
  • High motivation and work ethic

Key Responsibilities:

  • Evaluating managers, funds, and potential acquisitions
  • Monitoring the existing portfolio and benchmarking fund managers
  • Researching global sectors and industries for growth opportunities
  • Reviewing and filtering investment opportunities
  • Preparing investment papers for the Investment Committee
  • Participating in Investment Committee meetings and deal executions

Work Environment:

  • Standard working hours with flexibility depending on deal activity
  • Office-based work in Central London 3 days a week, with remote work options available
  • Direct interaction with experienced Investment Directors and Chairman
  • Entrepreneurial mindset required in the small, non-hierarchical team

Remuneration: To be communicated but will align with the role's seniority.
