ASSISTANT
JME is looking for someone to join their production and purchasing department, you will
undertake various duties to include stock control and administrative tasks at all stages of
manufacture. Working mainly within a small production department, this role requires you
to communicate with a range of individuals and split your time between administration and
production tasks. We are a market leading manufacturer of non-destructive testing equipment
that is sold globally. Therefore, an interest in engineering is very desirable for this role.
DUTIES WILL INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO:
- Booking goods in and out on our stock control system such as component orders, fabricated
- Assisting with reports and preventing known issues from reoccurring (Non-Conformance Register).
- Preparing work packs for production (Kitting of parts).
- Adhering and upholding company quality policies and procedures.
- Assisting with ensuring stock levels are accurate at all times.
- Administration support of Customer returned products.
- Delivery and Collection of goods using company vehicles.
- Forklift duties (licence would be desirable).
THE IDEAL APPLICANT WILL:
- Experience of stock management.
- Knowledge of electronic components would be advantageous but not essential.
- Be a good communicator.
- Computer literate, both on MS, and for data entry on an inhouse software system.
- Interested in engineering.
- Excellent attendance and punctuality.
- Flexible approach to work, with the ability to multitask.
- Be able to work under pressure.
- Clean Full UK driving licence.
