What aspects are involved in this role?
We are currently looking for a Customer Service Advisor to join our busy Customer Services team.
In this role, you will be expected to deliver excellent service standards by acting as the front-line relation with customers across all channels and product categories.
Purpose of the job:
Guarantee a positive customer experience, ensuring quick and reliable follow up of all customer requests; for example sales order processing, product queries, information requests and complaints.
This is a varied role comprising of logistics management, customer service and general clerical duties, which will require you to operate in a proactive and problem solving manner.
Tasks and Responsibilities:
- Forging strong relationships with customers.
- Respond to enquiries and resolving customer issues, through collaboration.
- Signpost new customers to relevant team member.
- Provide to the customer, production and delivery updates.
- Inputting sales orders into business planning system.
- Liaising with hauliers regarding bookings, both in and out of site.
- Intake, processing and updating of sales orders.
- Acknowledging customer complaints and report dissatisfaction/failures in line with procedures.
- Maintain uptodate knowledge of customer specific requirements.
- Administrative tasks as necessary.
The Person:
- Good standard of practical Customer Service experience (>3 years)
- Minimum 2years experience within an SME manufacturing business would be beneficial.
- He/she will show they have a professional and courteous attitude, with excellent interpersonal skills and a highly organised approach to their work.
- Enthusiastic, energetic person with great phone manner able to build and develop customer relationships.
- Has a 'can do' positive attitude, a cheerful selfstarter and can think on his/her feet.
- Independent and selfmotivated, confident using initiative to deliver results.
- Ability to prioritise & manage own workload.
- Strong track record in a relevant administrative role that provides a solid understanding of the sales / customer arena.
- Educated to GCSE or equivalent in English and Math's.
- Computer literate, with a good understanding of Microsoft Office software.
