We are expanding our training team and are looking for an experienced Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) to join us.

You will be able to deliver a consistent delivery approach with regards to all operational aspects of Clinical Training and development


You will work across our portfolio of Nursing Homes throughout the UK to deliver the Nurse Training Framework to use in each of our homes.

You will deliver clinical workshops and inductions to a variety of team members from our nurses to senior management.

You will be given the opportunity to plan and manage the training events including identifying training needs and on-site support.


Requirements:

Registered Nurse (RGN or RMN) with valid NMC pin; 5 years post qualification experience
Experience working within both a NHS Hospital and Elderly Care environments
Minimum NVQ4 qualified in Learning and Development or relevant professional qualified such as Education and Training Certificate (EAT), PTTLS, ILM Level 2 etc
Understanding of current clinical practices through evidenced based CPD and Revalidation Requirements
Strong writing skills and confidence in communicating where you will be able to deliver training presentations both face to face and virtual

Clinical Skills Experience:

Venepuncture
Urinary (Male/Female) and Suprapubic Catheterisation
Stoma Care
Enteral Nutrition Methods
Tissue Viability including ANTT
Care Planning, documentation, and assessment
Monitoring and Recording of Vital Signs (with understanding of the NEWS)
Administration of Medication via IV, IM, SC, PR, PV, PR Routes
Diabetes management
Understanding of neurological diseases such as Parkinson's disease
Tracheostomy care
