This is a fixed term contract from 1st September 2024 to 31st August 2025 on a part time basis working 3 days.

The school is an increasingly popular choice within the local community and we are delighted to advertise this role due to an expansion within the school and a larger intake of students in September 2024.

We are looking for an inspiring teacher of Modern Foreign Languages to join our department at Oaks Park High School.

MFL at Oaks Park High School offers French and Spanish at Key Stages 3 and 4. We have an evolving and dynamic curriculum and are proud to have a high and increasing uptake at GCSE.

The examination groups follow the AQA specifications. At Key Stage 3, our schemes of work have been heavily influenced by Gianfranco Conti's methodology and as such, a working knowledge of the Extensive Processing Instruction approach to teaching and learning would be an advantage (although not essential).

Fully resourced banks of materials are available to use to support lesson planning. The department have three dedicated teaching classrooms, a set of Chromebooks for use and an established group of teachers who are enthusiastic and keen to support one another.

You will be both ambitious and committed to teaching French and Spanish as well as strive to bring out the best in our students and promote success in the department. ​
