Our client is a well established fabrication and manufacrturing company based in Stoke.
Description
This is a fantastic opportunity for Manufacturing Manager who is needed to lead and coordinate the fabrication manufacturing site. The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring efficient production processes and maintaining a high standard of product quality.
- Manage and direct the fabrication production department
- Ensure efficient production processes and high-quality output
- Develop and implement operational strategies and goals
- Lead and Oversee the budgeting, reporting, planning, and auditing in the department
- Identify and implement improvements to production processes and operations
- Ensure all operations adhere to health and safety regulations
- Coordinate with other departments to achieve company objectives
- Lead, motivate and support a skilled team within a time-sensitive and demanding environment
- Managing multiple projects
- Reporting of financial performance and projections to the Company Directors.
- Integrating working practices with existing company systems and further developing office management tools for greater efficiency
Profile
You must have experience working in or for the furniture manufacturing industry.
This senior management position will ideally require a strong and diverse knowledge of the fabrication production sector and a practical understanding of this area of manufacturing. This is a pivotal role working alongside the Operations Director and within an existing senior management team. .
As Manufacturing Manager you will have the following:
- An engineering or manufacturing related qualification, or equivalent experience
- Proven experience in a senior managerial role within the fabrication manufacturing sector.
- Strong understanding of production processes and operational management
- Excellent leadership and team management skills as a senior production manager
- Proficiency in budgeting, planning and reporting
- Knowledge of health and safety regulations in the industry
- Exposure to the fabrication sector would be very advantageous but would consider related production and manufacturing sectors.
Job Offer
£60,000 to £70,000 plus benefits
