Your New RolenThe role of the Buying Administration Assistant is to provide a comprehensive and professional support service to the Buying Manager and DirectornGeneral administration, word processing, data entry and filingnEnsure all manual and computerised processes and procedures and files are accurate and up to date at all times, including CBIS informationnEnsure that a polite and professional manner is maintained in all internal/external communicationsnContribute positively and constructively to the Buying TeamnProvide cover for colleagues where necessarynCreating contracts and general purchasing administrationnMarket/competitor analysis to identify gaps in our current product range and maintain low retails against competitorsnCommunicating any changes to the product, contract, supplier information or retail changes, to the 13 regional depots across the UK & Ireland.

nChecking competitor retails where required, to ensure that Business' expectation of being the cheapest retailer in the market is being obtained and proposing new retails if this has alterednIssuing and ensuring all supplier terms and conditions are adhered tonAssist in design process including packagingnImplementing and carrying out the tendering process and all relevant documentation including competitor informationnCreate all product contracts and issue bulletins to regions in preparation of deliverynProduct queries, credits and returnsnSample managementnControl buying records via CBIS ensuring information is up to date and accurate at all timesnCarrying out all administration duties for the categorynCan manage multiple projects whilst prioritisingnAbility to work as part of cross functional teamnAbout YounGood attention to detailnExperience working in a fast-paced environmentnExcellent written and verbal communicationnPrevious Administration experiencenPrevious office environment experiencenExperience dealing with internal stakeholders and external suppliersnWhat You'll get in ReturnnSalary starting from £25,100 rising to £30,875nMonday to Friday, 8:00am to 4:30pm, with the opportunity of 2 days a week remote workingn5 weeks' annual leave plus Bank HolidaysnIn office flexi-timenFull training providednPension schemenPrivate employee medical insurance after 4 yearsnCompany sick pay schemenCompany maternity, paternity and adoption leave pay after 2 yearsnLong service rewardsnAccess to MyBenefits, where you can find a wide range of benefits, including our bike to work scheme, shopping and cinema discounts, health cash plan, a FREE will, travel and discounted gym memberships, as well as a host of benefits to support your financial and wellbeing needsnAccess to a free,24/7, confidential virtual GP servic for all Aldi Colleagues and their children (under the age of 16)
