Description Overview:

MAIN OBJECTIVES OF JOB:

  • To monitor the external regulatory environment and to communicate emerging issues to the business
  • To ensure compliance with the CSCI regulatory intelligence process
Hybrid Working Pattern offered - blend of on and off-site work located in London Office.

Scope of the Role:

  • Work as part of a specialist intelligence and policy team, to provide critical input to business management of new and emerging risks.
  • Responsible for monitoring the external regulatory environment, ensuring appropriate review and reporting of all intelligence, through most appropriate forms of education and communication
  • Undertake a regular and comprehensive review of all intelligence including but not limited to, medicines, medical devices, food supplements, biocides and cosmetics with specific focus on Perrigo current future categories and pipeline
  • Create and maintain a strong multifunctional internal network
  • Leverage network to assess relevance and assess risk of emerging intelligence in line with Perrigo business priorities
  • Support the Regulatory Intelligence & Policy Manager in the delivery of regular updates to the business by providing education, knowledge sharing, regular newsletters, reports
  • Support the Regulatory Intelligence & Policy Manager to develop policy position documents to drive business decisions

Experience Required:

  • A degree, ideally but not limited to a pharmaceutical, chemical, biological discipline or legal discipline
  • 2 years Regulatory Affairs, ideally within UK or EU OTC including a sound understanding of the regulatory environment, specifically EMA, ICH and local guidelines with a basic knowledge of intelligence tools and methods
  • Desirable experience managing and overseeing regulatory intelligence
