**Senior Policy Advisor
**Eden Brown Synergy is currently working in partnership with a Central Government Organisation in London which is looking to recruit a Senior Policy Advisor on an interim basis until March 2024. This is a unique opportunity to play a critical role in cross government policy for Digital Transformation; ensuring we keep the country safe by maximising the opportunities that come from adopting new hybrid cloud infrastructure securely and compliantly.

Your role:

The post holder will be based within a Policy Development hub as a representative for the organisation. You will be responsible for managing relationships, advocating for the organisation and connecting various stakeholders.

You will make decisions and contribute to cross government policy development with the delegated authority to act on behalf of the organisation.

The post holder will ensure the organisations requirements are represented and act as the lead for ensuring policy is coherent, aligned and where required amended to meet the requirements.

You will act as the single conduit for draft policy review and will ensure the policy is signed off with the appropriate stakeholders.

You will be required to understand the organisational structures, routes for policy approval and be able to quickly identify stakeholders should support be required.


Experience & Qualifications Required:

  • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
  • Deep understanding of policy drafting
  • An appreciation of how cloud technologies benefit business outcomes and the value of effective information and data management and the policies that support this
  • Active DV Clearance
  • Understanding of the defence sector


This role is initially until March 2024, will be based on site in London and is paying between £450-£550 per day umbrella inside IR35.
