Job Overview
A unique opportunity is now open for a professional individual with outstanding customer service skills to join the Emergency Department team at Leighton Hospital as a receptionist. The reception operates 24/7 with various shift patterns available:
- 8 am - 5 pm
- 8 am - 2 pm
- 2 pm - 5 pm
- 5 pm - 9 pm
- 5 pm - midnight
- 9 pm - 8 am
You will work on a 2-week rolling rota (week 1, week 2) for better personal time planning.
Main Duties of the Job
Prior experience in admin and clerical roles is beneficial, but exceptional customer service skills are essential. We need individuals who can thrive under pressure with precision. The primary responsibility is to welcome patients, book them in, maintain patient data flow, and ensure data quality and availability.
Excellent written and verbal communication, team collaboration, initiative, and prioritization skills are key for maintaining a professional and efficient service.
