Position Summary
The Study Director supports a wide range of in-vivo biocompatibility safety and efficacy studies for medical devices, as described in ISO 10993, USP and other standards as well as the Good Laboratory Practices (GLPs). Has overall responsibility for the technical conduct of a study as well as for the interpretation, analysis, documentation, and reporting of results. Responsible for the supervision of technical and scientific conduct of studies according to GLP regulations and related protocol. Develops protocols and ensures that the protocol, including any changes, is approved and is in compliance with the appropriate SOPs, GLPs, and regulatory agency guidelines. Works with our internal team to evaluate proposals, evaluate feasibility, and provide recommendations to clients. Follows GLP and other regulatory requirements to ensure the acceptability of Labcorp data.
Candidates given best consideration will have the following qualifications:
Ability to work efficiently and effectively in a fast-paced environment. Detail oriented, excellent communication skills, works well with teams, and takes initiatives. Ability to maintain current regulatory awareness (domestic and foreign), in the field of specialty. Skilled in conducting research, data interpretation, and writing reports. Skilled in performing scientific presentations.Education/Experience
