  • Designing architectural solutions aligned with the targeted architecture

  • Establishing strong relationships with the engineering team and wider technology group
  • Leading architecture and design evaluations throughout the Development lifecycle

Skills and Qualifications for the Role of Application Architect - Payments/Banking:

  • Capable of crafting end-to-end application and technical architectures for highly concurrent real-time transactional systems
  • Proficient in conceptual, application, integration, logical, and physical modeling
  • Experience in analyzing and implementing solutions that fulfill functional and non-functional requirements
  • Skilled in developing detailed software architectures
  • Extensive background in Java, APIs, and Microservices
  • Familiarity with modern architectural and delivery standards like Agile, TDD, BDD, CI/CD automation, and DevOps practices
  • Ability to cultivate relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Preferred experience and understanding of the Payments Industry

This opportunity offers a competitive salary ranging from £90,000 to £95,000, along with outstanding work conditions and benefits, including a substantial Bonus package.
