Job Description:

 Hours: Mon
  • Thu 8am 4pm Fri 7am 2pm
  • Pay: From £10.42 p/hr

  • The Duties of a Production Operative:
  • " Operate and maintain equipment and machinery.
- " Assist in the preparation of moulds, ensuring they meet quality specifications.
- " Smooth rough surfaces, edges, and welds using grinders, sanders, and other finishing tools.
- " Perform fettling and finishing operations on cast metal components
- " Perform quality checks on finished products.
- " Follow safety protocols and maintain a clean and organised work environment.

  • The Requirements of a Production Operative:
  • " Ability to lift and carry heavy objects and work in physically demanding conditions.
- " Previous experience in metal finishing, fettling, or a related field is preferred.
- " Basic understanding of Health and Safety.
- " Strong attention to detail and commitment to producing high-quality work.
- " Willingness to learn and adapt to new processes.
- " Good communication skills and ability to work effectively in a team
