Residential Support Worker - £ to £ PLUS £78 per night sleep in rate


ROC Northwest Ltd is a private organisation that offers high quality residential care and education for children and young people with Autistic Spectrum Disorders, SEBD, Learning & Physical Disabilities and complex needs associated with challenging behaviour.

We are looking for enthusiastic support workers to join us providing meaningful care and support for our service users.

What is the role?


Your role as a Residential Support Worker is to ensure our children and young people develop and achieve their maximum potential.

Our teams come from all backgrounds and have a wide range of transferable skills from previous related environments.

It is true we do look for previous experience in a similar environment as we are working with vulnerable children, but we are also able to offer training for those applicants that can demonstrate a genuine desire to move in to this sector and join our family.


What we look for:

  • Experience in a care/support environment is very much welcomed but not always essential in some of our services talk to us
  • Maybe you have personal life experience related to our service users conditions
  • People who have the desire to put others first and to go home with a sense of achievement and pride in their day
  • Great communication skills with attention to detail
  • Working as part of a team is crucial to this role
  • A relevant care/childcare qualification will result in a higher pay rate
  • UK driving licence to allow you to use our vehicles for transporting service users to events, activities and engage in the community
  • Ability to work longer shifts, for example 8am to 10pm and sleep ins where required
  • Weekend shifts are included on a rota basis
