This is a job share with another HR Advisor within the team.

Working 2 days per week (Monday and Friday), this is a generalist role, with great opportunities to make a difference.


Being at a critical point in our growth, the ideal person needs to support our 'people plan' throughout the business.

With a clear understanding of how we can improve and streamline our HR support function - to ultimately offer an outstanding HR service globally.


The salary for this role is £32,000 per annum and will be pro rata'd according to the part-time hours agreed.


Key Responsibilities

  • Act as a first point of contact for all employees, at all levels regarding any general employment queries
  • Provide day to day advice to line managers on all human resource issues i.e., management of staff, conflict situations, employee relations, inclusion & diversity and remuneration etc.
  • Ensure effective communication and handovers within the HR team, for coverage over nonworking days
  • Assist Line Managers to fully understand and implement global 'people' policies & procedures into practise, developing and delivering management toolboxes and being the first point of contact to proactively support
  • Deal with employee relations cases, such as discipline, grievance, capability etc.
  • Provide employment advice and guidance, maintaining uptodate employment law knowledge
  • Evolve globally & manage 'people' and HRorientated processes, e.g. inductions, new employee onboarding process, leavers
  • Manage the global compliance L&D needs (online learning tool), developing and tailoring training courses as needed
  • Maintain and report on HR/People data (monthly & annual data) and present analysis with findings, clear actions, and appropriate solutions
  • Support global employee integration strategies
  • Support to develop and integrate global standard forms, policies, procedures and 'how to's' translating key elements to provide support to line management to implement practices
  • Identify learning, development, and training needs, creating and utilising training needs and gap analysis and support in the development of L&D programs
  • Maintain L&D records specific to Quality & Regulatory per our Quality Management System and relevant procedures and policies and work closely with line managers to achieve the required standards.
  • Manage global HRIS systems people data systems to manage employee data, holidays, and absences and to create HR data/reports
  • Ensure compliance within HR administration activities and tasks are consistently maintained, including job descriptions, training records and employmentrelated documentation
  • Oversee and support global wellbeing initiatives
  • Travel will be required from time to time, dependent on business needs.

Education and professional qualifications required:

  • CIPD qualification advantageous
