The Data and Search team at UK Parliament is looking for a skilled Senior Data Analyst to join their dynamic team. The team's main focus is on understanding and transforming data to deliver top-notch services to stakeholders within Parliament. Your role will involve analyzing data quality, preparing data for migration or integration, linking datasets, communicating analytical findings, and capturing business and user needs related to data and reporting.
- Analyze data quality and make recommendations based on findings
- Prepare data for migration or integration, working on data cleaning if necessary
- Link different datasets for data comparison and create data models for analytics
- Summarize and communicate analytical findings to various stakeholders
- Capture business and user needs for data and reporting
Requirements
- Experience in assessing data dimensions based on business criteria
- Experience in extracting and manipulating data to develop efficient data models
- Proficiency in SQL and other scripting languages for data querying
- Ability to work effectively in diverse teams and with various stakeholders
- Experience in data analysis, statistics, and data visualization
- Valid security clearance and right to work in the UK
