Job purpose, tasks and responsibilities
As our Non-Life Insurance Analyst, your solid insurance experience and strong analytic skills will be a great addition to our fantastic team of insurance professionals all of whom have an in-depth knowledge of local markets, practices, and regulations to make them true subject matter experts.
You will work alongside some amazing people, undertaking online research for a wide range of insurance topics which are then delivered to our clients in various output formats. This team focus is Non-Life insurance reporting on a multitude of existing and emerging risks and changes impacting the insurance industry globally.
Responsibilities include, but aren't limited to;
Working with a group of external consultants to ensure timely & accurate updates of our Non-Life Insurance products. This includes staying abreast of regulatory & legislative changes globally resulting in editing and/or updating our content to incorporate the latest market developments. Researching and analysing a focused set of markets to build up expertise in local insurance regulation. Conducting web-based research using a variety of insurance related sources. Understanding regulatory changes and creating concise & timely summaries alerting our clients to such events. Responding to client enquiries as they arise. Collaborating with various internal and external teams to deliver tailored solutions as part of ad hoc projects.Essential and desirable capabilities

You will also need;
Excellent technical understanding of Non-Life insurance (previous insurance experience with relevant lines of business) Previous experience with multinational programmes is desirable. Knowledge of general insurance topics such as reinsurance, captives, preferred but not required. Ability to assimilate large amounts of data and produce concise and accurate summaries in an appropriate format. Ability to undertake web-based research, understand and interpret legal text, write and proof-read. Excellent communication and social skills with the ability to build strong relationships with external and internal stakeholders.Before you go....
