Job Description

Boeing Commercial Aviation Services Europe Limited (BCASEL) is an EASA and UK CAA approved Maintenance Repair Organisation with expertise in providing Line & Base Maintenance services on 737 NG/Max, 777, and 787 aircraft.

We are seeking an Avionics Mechanic to join our team at the London Gatwick Hangar facility. This role requires recent maintenance experience on 737 NG/Max, 777, 787, or similar aircraft types.

Responsibilities:

  • Execute scheduled maintenance, defect rectification, modifications, repairs, and tests on Avionic and Electrical systems under the supervision of a Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
  • Complete assigned tasks promptly to minimize aircraft downtime.
  • Ensure accurate completion of aircraft technical documentation and maintenance logs in collaboration with the Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
  • Identify and report technical issues to the Licensed Aircraft Engineer.
  • Maintain cleanliness in work areas and adhere to regulatory requirements.
  • Participate in the Boeing Safety Management System by reporting all incidents.
  • Carry out assigned duties, including potential work away from the London Gatwick site.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Completion of a recognized apprenticeship, formal training program, or equivalent qualification and experience.
  • Prior experience in Line or Base Maintenance.
  • Team player mentality aiming to exceed customer expectations.
  • Adaptability to adjust working hours as needed.
  • Proficiency in Excel, Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint and ability to learn internal systems.
  • Eligibility for holding a London Gatwick Airport airside pass.

Work Authorization: This role requires immediate legal authorization to work in the UK. No relocation assistance is provided.
