Job Overview:

Key Responsibilities:

1.

Quality Assurance:


  • Assist in the development, implementation, and monitoring of quality management systems, covering ISO 900
  • Conduct regular quality audits and inspections of vending sites and operations alongside the Operations Manager and Training Co-Ordinator.
  • Ensure all products meet company and regulatory quality standards.

Environmental Management:


  • Support the implementation of environmental policies and procedures, covering ISO 1400
  • Develop and support our NET Zero targets and carbon reductions.
  • Monitor and report on environmental performance, ensuring compliance with environmental regulations.
  • Promote sustainability initiatives and best practices within the company.

3.

Health and Safety:


  • Conduct risk assessments and ensure appropriate safety measures are in place.
  • Assist in developing and delivering health and safety training programs.
  • Investigate and report on incidents and nearmisses, ensuring corrective actions are implemented.
  • Work to the ISO 45001 standards.

4.

Compliance and Documentation:


  • Maintain accurate records and documentation related to QESH activities.
  • Prepare reports on QESH performance and compliance for management review.
  • Ensure all QESHrelated certifications and accreditations are up to date.
  • Utilise technology to generate best in class reporting systems to compile data and documentation that helps the business monitor its success whilst identifying areas for improvement.

5.

Continuous Improvement:


  • Identify areas for improvement in QESH processes and systems.
  • Participate in continuous improvement projects and initiatives.
  • Stay uptodate with industry best practices and regulatory changes.
  • Chair monthly QESH committee meetings, prepare minutes and action points.

Qualifications and Skills:

Essential:

  • 12 months experience in a QESHrelated role, preferably within the vending or food services industry.
  • Strong knowledge of quality, environmental, health, and safety standards and regulations.
  • Excellent attention to detail and organisational skills.
  • Ability to conduct thorough audits and risk assessments.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Target driven with a motivation to succeed.
  • Good problem solving skills.

Desirable:

  • Relevant certifications in QESH (e.g., NEBOSH, IOSH).
  • Trained internal auditor
