As Head of business development, your role is to oversee the strategic planning, development, and implementation of our business development and marketing projects for dentsu Sports International across the EMEA region.

This will include managing a team of expert professionals to help to implement and deliver the plans set out.

You will be responsible for the professional development and building a team of young, dynamic professionals and the nurturing of a culture that encourages excellence, dynamism, expertise and curiosity.

Put simply - you will help grow dentsu Sports international through proactive new business and cutting edge marketing to help us achieve our medium and long term strategic plan.

Own the new business process and pipeline across all DSI businesses in EMEA
Work with Senior Leadership to drive forward a proactive new business plan.
Generate significant new logo growth opportunities in the marketplace.
Develop relationships within the dentsu network to generate leads and conversations around sports + entertainment.
Build a network of contacts internally and externally to drive significant logo growth.
Project manage and/or support the development of creative content, case studies and credentials.
Own the DSI marketing plan and output, including social, website, events, awards, conferences, communications and how this flows into new business
Work with leadership on developing and delivering our communications strategy, managing the marketing and content calendar and timelines.
Be an active part of a community of marketing professionals within the global MKTG Sports + Entertainment network.
Manage the team to deliver appropriate metrics, campaign performance, optimise content and report preparation.
At least 10 years' of experience in a new business and/or a marketing role
Have experience in managing large scale RFPs as well as smaller more agile new business approaches
Be able to show a clear understanding of the marketing needs of an agency business and a track record of making a brand stand out from the crowd
Ability to manage long-term projects while being able to respond to real-time events and work under tight deadlines
Proven ability to deliver persuasive and compelling presentations to senior brand clients.
