Job Introduction
We are looking for an Administrator/ Receptionist to join our Carrswood Day Service for adults with learning disabilities.

We on the look out for a friendly and enthusiastic person who can provide a professional and welcoming front of house service for the Day service.


As an Administrator/ Receptionist, you will work closely with Support Workers, Day service staff and other locality teams on a regular basis.

A significant amount of the role will be supporting the Day Service Manager to manage finance, procurement, records for service users and staff members, as well as other administrative functions where required.

This opportunity will be on a full-time basis working across Monday to Friday between the hours of 9am

  • 4:30pm.
Main Responsibilities
This role's main responsibilities will be but are not limited to:

  • Manage Day Service reception, including answering the phone, communicating with staff, service users, parents/carers and visitors and monitoring of access to building
  • Support with finance administration including processing invoices, managing petty cash, procurement and the ordering of supplies for the Day Service.
  • Assist in the control and monitoring of expenditure and income
  • Record and monitor the movements of invoices and process for payments
We are looking for someone who has previous administrative experience, preferably within a finance environment. You will be professional and welcoming with excellent customer service who can communicate effectively and confidently.
