Path Links is a single managed NHS clinical pathology network operating across Lincolnshire.

It was formed in 2001 from the amalgamation of NHS pathology services in Boston, Grantham, Grimsby, Lincoln and Scunthorpe, The Cellular Pathology Department is a well-established centralised service and has a team of sixteen consultants.

The laboratory is well equipped to provide the diagnostic tests required for reporting and is implementing Digital Microscopy to provide greater diagnostic versatility.


The successful applicant will have the opportunity to be appointed as Honorary Senior Lecturer at Hull York Medical School (HYMS).

This honorary appointment is in recognition of contribution to teaching and research and holders of honorary titles may request access to HYMS and University premises and facilities, systems, and library services.

Job Description is approved by the Royal College.
