Company Profile:
This Client has a very successful Hotel, Golf and Conference facility, in rural Essex. Established over many years. This Hotel is also a very popular and very busy.

They have a busy calendar for 2024 with, corporate golf days and special event days already booked and with 2 restaurants.


The Role:
They are currently looking for an experienced Sous Chef to join their kitchen team. Experience in Large volume and function work preferred. There will be potential for development and to progress with the business. Due to the location, you will have to have your own transport.

Responsible for:
Sous Chef with a minimum of 2 years in a similar property or quality restaurant
To liaise with the Head chef in the daily running of the Restaurant and to assist with the overseeing of the Banqueting operations
Excellent management skills including monitoring maintenance, health and safety in the kitchen at all times
Must have experience in High volume restaurants and banqueting cooking
Successful experience at leading a team of chefs
A steady career path to date showing good progression driven by proven success
Excellent relationship building and rapport building skills
To take control of Banqueting kitchen in absence of Head chef
