This service is dedicated to offering specialist post-acute rehabilitation, as well as management of long-term neurological conditions, for adults over the age of 18.

Occupational Therapist Experienced Permanent

Neurological Rehabilitation


Through slow stream rehabilitation, we prioritise the individual needs of our clients residents by offering an adjusted intensity program tailored to their specific requirements.

This adaptable approach ensures that residents can continue their rehabilitation journey at a pace that aligns with their current capabilities while working towards achieving their rehabilitation goals.


Job Role:

  • Keeping people safe from any harm and protecting their human rights
  • Provide highly specialist OT interventions for a complex caseload in your specialist area
  • Keep up to date with new treatment methods and be actively involved in research projects relating to specialist area
  • Evaluate effectiveness of service and carry out audits where required
  • Liaise effectively with multidisciplinary team colleagues
  • Provide support and guidance for junior staff and advice with complex cases where necessary assisting in the treatment of such cases
  • Be responsible for department training and contribute to training and development of all staff
  • Ensure risk management and safety procedures are in place for the OT Department and adhered to
  • Develop and maintain good working relationships with all colleagues, visitors, and carers

Qualifications Required:

  • Current HCPC registration as an Occupational Therapist.
  • A relevant degree in Occupational Therapy
  • Successful candidates will be required to undergo an Enhanced DBS
