Join ASEND Tuition and make a difference

We are searching for inspirational tutors in Aylesbury to assist children and young individuals with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). Many of these students have become disengaged with their studies and struggle to thrive in the traditional classroom setting. At ASEND, our goal is to provide personalized face-to-face tutoring sessions in various locations such as homes, schools, and community centers to help these students re-engage with education and eventually reintegrate into school.

Whether you're a seasoned tutor or teacher, or have experience working therapeutically with children, your mission will be to support and motivate students in their learning journey, fostering their educational development and successful return to school. Our tutoring services act as a vital substitute for traditional schooling and typically take place part-time during school hours, five days a week.

At ASEND, we cater to a diverse group of students with unique needs and abilities. We strive to match each tutor with a child who can benefit the most from their expertise. Our team values individuals from various backgrounds and disciplines to effectively address the wide-ranging needs of our students. Some tutors specialize in specific academic subjects related to SEN, while others focus on behaviors associated with special needs. Additionally, tutors with expertise in Play Therapy, Art Therapy, Drama Therapy, Music Therapy, or Dance and Movement Therapy have proven to be beneficial for students dealing with anxiety or mental health challenges linked to their special needs.

The ideal candidates will:

  • have experience working with SEN, particularly Autism, ADHD, or Emotional and Mental Health difficulties
  • be dedicated to helping students overcome learning barriers and engagement issues
  • build strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues
  • possess the ability to inspire and motivate students
  • utilize a person-centered approach in their teaching
  • prioritize the well-being, progress, and achievements of their students
  • demonstrate the drive and enthusiasm to enhance mental health and confidence continuously

At ASEND, you'll receive unwavering support from our experienced team and fair compensation for your contributions towards student progress and development.

If you're looking for a fulfilling role that involves enriching the lives of young individuals, don't miss this opportunity to be part of our team at ASEND
