Darby Nursery Stock is one of the largest wholesale nurseries in the UK, supplying leading garden retailers throughout the country.

We are looking for an enthusiastic and highly motivated Telesales person to join our busy Sales Team.

The role includes:

  • Regular telesales calls to existing Garden Centre customers, building a positive relationship with them.
  • Developing a good understanding of our sales order processing system.
  • Accurately complete data entry relating to customer orders, deliveries and any changes.
  • Originating customer specific product listings and weekly updates to reflect seasonal changes to product mix.
  • Working as part of a busy team and providing cover/support to other members where necessary.
  • Dealing with customer queries and responding in a timely manner.

Skill & Attributes:

  • Clear and confident telephone manner.
  • Upbeat and motivated personality with a customer focus.
  • Previous Telesales or customer facing experience would be advantageous.
  • Comfortable working with Windows based software packages, particularly MS Excel.
  • Order processing experience with a high level of accuracy.
  • The ability to prioritise workload and work to deadlines.
  • A professional manner and flexible attitude.
  • An interest in gardening would be advantageous but not essential.

Schedule
Part-time or Full-time hours available.
Monday to Friday
25 to 37.5 hours per week

Salary
£11.50 per hour
