The role

We are a multi award winning team with a 3 x ROSPA Gold and a number of nominations for sector leading fire safety digital innovation.
We are looking for a Property Safety Officer to support surveying staff out in the field. This will be an agile role, so a mix of office, home and some site visits. They cover Fire Safety and M+E compliance.This is a varied role which will require you to occasionally travel to meet and engage with our customers, colleagues and contractors.
This role is part of Customer & Communities where you'll help us to lead the way keeping our promise to more than 100,000 customers.
What you'll achieve
- Work to support fieldbased team, arranging diaries, and managing inboxes.
- Work with wider safety team to support, and ensure all deadlines are met.
- Track compliance via CRM database strong MS Word and Excel will be key
- Interact with teams across the business and external contractors.
- Attend relevant meetings and support and embed process improvements.
What you'll bring
Essential skills
- PC skills and knowledge especially MS Excel
- Experience working with repairs and servicing
- Good understanding of Social Housing
- Ambitious with an appetite to learn and develop knowledge in Property Safety
- Background in customer service and resolving issues in line with best practice
Desirable skills
- Experience in delivering process change and improvement
- Experience in fire safety compliance / M+E Compliance
