Simulation Engineer | Vehicles | £35-45K | Hybrid | Bedford

Langham Recruitment is recruiting exclusively for a rapidly growing high-tech start-up, a collaboration between a system integrator and two major international automotive OEMs. An exciting new requirement has arisen for a Simulation Engineer to be instrumental in building a brand-new lab and developing the software for high-spec simulated driving rigs. This is a unique opportunity for someone with vehicle simulation experience to spearhead a project with substantial international funding.

Key Requirements:

• Assist in the development and testing of simulation models for various vehicle systems including powertrain, braking, steering, and suspension
• Assist in setting up and configuring simulation environments for testing purposes
• Assist in preparing reports and presentations to communicate findings to the engineering team
• Analyse simulation data to identify performance issues, optimisation opportunities, and potential improvements in control strategies

Skills & Experience

• Recent graduates or up to 2 years of experience in simulation or a related field
• Previous internship or project experience in automotive simulation is a plus
• Familiarity with simulation tools such as MATLAB/Simulink and IPG CarMaker
