Job description:
Credit Controller
Vickerstock are currently recruiting for an established employer based in Belfast to recruit for a Credit Controller to join their finance team for a period of 6 months.
Your new role as a Credit Controller
- Manage assigned customer base and ledgers
- Manage bad debt movement on assigned ledger(s) and identify accounts that may require special attention or are at high risk
- Negotiate and agree payment plans
- Work with minimum supervision on collection of overdue debts
- Liaise with sales team to ensure timely collection of outstanding debt and resolve disputed accounts with customers to bring payments into line with credit terms
- Ensuring credit management policies and procedures are adhered to
- Weekly/monthly reporting identifying individual key measurement and performance statistics including other ad hoc duties
What you'll need to succeed as a Credit Controller
- Previous experience within Credit Control
- Understanding of pursuing debt collection
- Proficient in MS Office to include Excel
- Ability to communicate effectively at all levels
- Ability to establish and maintain working relationships with others.
