Tradewind are recruiting Are you a qualified teacher of English looking for a new role for September 2024 in Oldham?Tradewind Recruitment is currently looking for a proficient teacher of English to join a secondary academy in Oldham.

This is a full-time temporary supply teaching role from September 2024 to December 2024 initially.

The Job: Teacher of English Language and Literature to GCSEFive days a weekCalm confident behaviour management skills where students can share beliefs in a safe supportive environmentA flexible teacher able to adapt lessons to a broad range of abilities, beliefs and cultures.

Experience of teaching English to students who have improved their predicted GCSE grade from 3 to 6 or higher is desirable.

The academy are interested in hearing from early career teachers, experienced QTS teachers or FE lecturers with experience of teaching AQA GCSE English to students aged 11 to 16.

The School: Successful 11-16 academyGood Ofsted April 2016Teaching is consistently good. Teachers know the pupils well and plan interesting lessons that engage them. They follow the school's marking and feedback policy well, which ensures that pupils know what to do to improve their work.
