WHAT TO EXPECT
We are currently hiring for the position of a Senior Data Integrity Engineer to join the Powertrain Productions Operations department here at JLR. In this role you will manage all aspects of Data Integrity and Perpetual Inventory, working on stock control, handling new part releases, accounts reconciliation, reporting to senior stakeholders and wider team on incoming financial reports, and engineering change. You will also be working closely with users of SAP within the business area, helping to assist with inventory accuracy and reporting for the BAC.
Key Accountabilities and Responsibilities:
Engineering Change:
Approving or Rejecting concerns within WERS on behalf of MP&L Attending Change Management Meeting (CMM) / Open to Go / Manage The Change (MTC) meetings on behalf of MP&L Ensuring timing issues (for example obsolescence) are covered before concern release Communicating part number changes and associated timings to the rest of the business Coordinate all part number change activity for pre-production buildsInventory Accuracy:
Co-ordinate all Perpetual Inventory (PI) counting for the plant Produce monthly PI brochure and related stock accuracy KPIs Lead investigation of stock errors and countermeasure root cause Champion Stock Accuracy within BAC (including process confirmation) Support processes for Lead Logistics Providers (LLP) where data accuracy or inventory accuracy is impactedWHAT YOU'LL NEED
In order to be considered for this position, you will be required to have experience with Inventory control within a manufacturing environment. You will also need to have a strong understanding of SAP, Billing Material, Release Approvals, and Change Management.
