Music Teacher/ Music ECT – September 2024

We are an excellent secondary school in the Borough of Southwark, and we would like to appoint a permanent Music Teacher for September 2024.

We are keen to appoint either an experienced Music Teacher or Music ECT.

We are an exceptional, mixed 11-16 comprehensive school, serving a truly multi- cultural community, where every student is valued and treated as an individual.

Music Teacher Person Specification

  • Music Teacher/ Music ECT
  • Holds UK QTS
  • Can teach Music to KS3, KS4 and KS5 pupils
  • A degree in Music – 1st class or 2:1
  • Happy to get involved with extra-curricular programmes
  • Has a proven track record of delivering good or outstanding lessons
  • Can deliver consistently engaging, creative and thoughtful music lessons
  • Can promote the ethos and values of our school
  • Music Teacher role open to Music ECT and experienced Music Teachers
